Austin Baseball League is known for developing players with no previous baseball experience to highly skilled players who love the game and who want to share their knowledge and skills. Players will also learn how to play the game the right way and for the right reasons. So no matter what level you are currently at come on out, get back into shape, play baseball and have fun doing it

ABL began in October of 2012 with no equipment, baseballs or bats. It's hard enough to get a team together and 10 times harder to start a new league from scratch, but with a Commish who has a passion for baseball as well as a big heart players started coming and a few good managers. With everyone's contributions, ABL had enough teams to start league play in March of 2013
While ABL is a community based baseball league for adults 18 and over we specialize in helping baseball players make their high school or college team
Players 15 -17 can play and train with ABL players, but must have a signed waiver from their parents or legal guardian. ABL also requires that a player's parent or legal guardian participate in their training - and this is mandatory (ages 15-17)
Teams must have 15 players so that
all teams will have enough for each game
All players must pay their fee
and have a signed contract before they will be allowed to play
Only wood bats, composite bats, and BBCOR (-3) will be allowed
NO ALUMINUM (BESR)
There will be 2 certified umpires at every game
Games are 2 hours and 30 minutes or 9 innings
